The Rugged Roof Mount is made from powder coated aluminium and comes with an industrial strength Polycarbonate cover.  Polycarbonate offers a far stronger and durable protection compared to acrylic. The Rugged Roof Mount is built to perform in the toughest conditions and protects your Starlink Mini dish from impact whilst on the road. 
 
The Rugged Roof Mount can be installed on any type of platform rack. The mounting slots allow for a channel nut spacing between 150mm to 250mm, accommodating a wide variety of roof racks like Rhino Rack, ROLA, Front Runner, Yakima, OCAM and more.
 
For those that do not have a roof rack on their vehicle, we offer an option of four heavy-duty, rare-earth magnets. These rugged magnets offer a strong and secure hold on steel surfaces, without the risk of damage. Encased in a tough rubber coating, they prevent scratching, dampens vibration, and stand up to the elements.
 
And for a quick removal and reinstallation of the Dish in the Rugged Roof Mount we offer our quick release thumb screws. With these thumb screws you can remove your dish in seconds, for when you need to deploy the dish away from the vehicle due to obstructions.
